 State Event Calendar July 24-25, 1999 - Grand Lake Stream Grand Lake Stream Folk Art Festival 50 nationally recognized folk artists, craft demonstrations, canoe displays, quilt display, Bluegrass music and more. Features include a parade, fireworks, craft fairs, pageants, beer tents, concerts, events, road races, raft race, and so much more. We are also home to the unique Cow Patti Bingo! [Return to top] August 4-8, 1999 - Rockland 52nd Annual Lobster Festival Celebrate the region's heritage with thousands of pounds of Maine lobster and over 60,000 lobster lovers. Exhibits, crafts, marine tent, boat rides, children's activities, ship tours, train rides and much more. Fees: $4-5 for adults, children under 12 free. [Return to top] August 5-8, 1999 - Brunswick 23rd Annual Maine Festival This year's festival features storytellers, comedians, music, exhibitors, live entertainment, dancing and food galore at Thomas Point Beach. Boat tours, a fishing derby, educational booths, a farmer's market, arts & crafts, and salmon dinners are all part of the festivities.
